Chemical Neri is a Japanese papermaking material used to suspend the fibers in a vat of water. This chemical Neri comes in a powder form, and has an indefinite shelf life so long as it is kept dry. 1 tablespoon of chemical Neri should be gradually added to two gallons of water and stirred vigorously. Let this mixture sit overnight and add to vat accordingly.
