The carefully honed inner backs of mature bamboo have been used for centuries to seperate primary supports from secondary backings in the conservation of Asian painted scrolls and decorative screens. These handmade bamboo debacking tools have been exclusively manufactured for HPI in Kyoto.

No. 1 Large - use for large size paper, cloth, maps, etc. To fold or for marking or finishing.
No. 2 Small - use for folding, marking and finishing paper and cloth.
